Evolve organic beauty review ...
I couldn't wait to receive these samples from Evolve Beauty. Lately I've been trying to incorporate more and more organic products into my skin, body and hair care routines.
I never used to think about the possibility of there being potentially harmful chemicals in my everyday beauty products but as I've got older I've realised that naturally derived, pure, organic ingredients are a better choice when choosing beauty products.
There are some great beauty brands around now, such as Ren, Khiels, Trilogy, Neal's Yard, to name a few, who take a more natural, ethical and environmental approach to skincare.
I came across Evolve Beauty when searching for a hyaluronic serum online, a relatively young company, all their products made using natural oils, butters and superfoods, they arealso vegan and cruelty free - bonus points!
I love that they offer sample sizes of many of their products, giving the opportunity to order and try them for a fraction of the price of the full sized product - the amount of moisturisers, serums and oils I've purchased in the past on a whim, used once and the either palmed off on friends or family members, or worse they've sat on the shelf collecting dust until meeting their end in the bottom of a bin. Such a bloody waste of money!
I find the tiny sachets you get given free with purchases are never quite substantial enough to give you an idea of whether or not the product suits your skin, the option of trying the hyaluronic serum in a 10ml bottle for £12 (full size 30ml costs £28) is such a great idea. (Also fantastic for travelling).
Hyaluronic acid naturally occurs in the human body, it is particularly important to skin for retaining moisture. Our ability to produce hyaluronic acid diminishes as we get older. Synthetically derived HA's have long been used as a wonder ingredient in many anti aging skincare products due to it's ability to moisturise and help plump the skin and diminish the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles.
I find Retin A's are my go to when it comes to long term anti aging results, but the hyaluronic is wonderful addition, especially in the colder months for keeping skin moisturised and looking healthy.
I really like Evolve Beauty's hyaluronic serum, i've used it under my moisturiser for about a week now and really like the results.
Thanks to central heating and a bit less sleep than I'd ideally like, my skin was looking a bit lack lustre and dehydrated around the cheek & eye area.
The hyaluronic serum has really perked it up. I apply it after a thorough exfoliation, it left my skin feeling super soft. Plus the light texture feels great and absorbs into the skin really quickly, no greasy, filmy feeling after application.
I'm almost certainly going to purchase the full size bottle.
I spotted that their hair elixir also came in a 10ml trial size at £6, so, running low on my Moroccan oil, thought I'd give that a whirl too.
The nourishing, weightless hair elixir, with Boabab oil and Tahitian monoi oil smells divine and leaves hair feeling soft and so shiny.
It's a very light oil, it's thin texture had me thinking it wouldn't quite cut it for my thick, relatively course hair. So I was pleasantly surprised with the result after I'd dried my hair, silky and weightless, I was seriously impressed!
You can also pay £1 to try three samples from Evolve, which you can customise to your skin type in the drop down menu.
I received the radiant glow mask with cocoa and coconut - great for any chocoholics out there! And a daily renew facial cream and more hyaluronic serum.
I'm really impressed with Evolve's products, will definitely be repurchasing these, and I'm very keen to try more products from their organic range.
