The Natural History Museum

A wonderful trip to the Natural History Museum this week, ashamedly i don't think I've visited the museum since I was a teenager, I'm a V&A member but I always forget about its handsome neighbour next door.

I forgot just how magical it is. The magnificent Victorian architecture of the building alone is worth a visit. One of Londons most beautiful landmarks, the NHM is full of fascinating exhibits.

The Man 🙌🏼

The animatronic T-Rex in the Dinosaur Gallery, Mammals exhibit and the curious specimens in the state of the art biodiversity Cocoon were all highlights for me. But the high point of my visit was the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition.

If you live in or around, or are planning a trip to London it's a real must see. And the festive period is a great time to visit, with the temporary ice rink and Christmas tree outside, stalls selling hot chocolates and mulled wine, it's just adds to the magic of this truly wonderful museum.
